How long does a typical Workday consulting engagement last?
Duration varies by phase. A Cloud Readiness Check or programme review typically runs two to four weeks. Full deployment advisory runs in parallel with the implementation, which in most programmes spans six to eighteen months. Application Maintenance Service engagements are ongoing and structured around Workday’s two annual release cycles.

During deployment, a Workday consultant reviews business process designs, advises on supervisory organisation structures, monitors programme governance and flags configuration decisions that carry long-term risk.
